A house full of a life deserves better than a dumpster quote.
For executors, families and the agents who help them: a documented, unhurried clearing of a home, priced from photographs before anyone touches a thing.
Clearing a parent's house is a hundred small decisions made in the worst month to make them. The industry answer is a truck, a crew on the clock, and a price that rewards speed. Speed is precisely the problem: the county records in the desk, the ring in the coat pocket, the photographs behind the crawl space panel do not survive it.
Scoped works from photographs first. You walk the house once with your phone, room by room, and we return a written inventory scope: what appears saleable, what a charity will collect, what must be documented before disposal, and what simply goes. The price is fixed from that scope, and the scope is the contract. Nothing leaves the house that is not on it.
You approve the scope from wherever you live. The work is photographed as it happens, valuables are set aside in a labelled box that never leaves the property without your sign-off, and every donation receipt and disposal ticket comes back attached to the room it came from. When it is over you hold a record, not a memory of a truck pulling away.
What the written scope covers
- Room by room inventory, from your photographs
- Set-aside list: documents, jewellery, photographs, firearms flagged for lawful transfer
- Donation plan with named organisations and pickup dates
- Disposal plan for what remains, with ticket copies returned
- Fixed price and the stated cost of each possible surprise
- Timeline agreed around the estate's dates, not the crew's
