Your cross-connection program, current, chased and defensible.
The deal, up front: we run the paperwork side of a purveyor's backflow program as a service. Notices go out on schedule, test reports come back in one standard, non-responders get chased on a schedule you can show the state, and the program record is ready for the sanitary survey every day of the year, without adding a position to the budget.
Written for the water quality or distribution manager who owns cross-connection control alongside four other jobs, and for the small district where the program lives in one clerk's spreadsheet.
What a run program looks like
| Program measure | Before | Target with Tagged |
|---|---|---|
| Devices with a current test on file | 71% | 95% |
| Notices mailed on schedule | irregular | 100% |
| Non-responders in a documented chase cycle | none | all |
| Days to produce the record for an audit | days | same day |
Targets are proposed service standards for a pilot, stated as goals. The "before" column describes the common state we expect to find, not a measurement of any specific district.
Division of duties
The district keeps
Authority. Enforcement decisions, shutoff orders, ordinance interpretation and every signature stay with the purveyor. We prepare, you decide.
The district gets
A current device inventory, a notice calendar that fires on time, a single intake for tester reports in any format, and a program record in date order, built for the state sanitary survey.
Tagged carries
The mail merge, the returned envelopes, the tester follow-ups, the data entry, the chase log, and the monthly program summary to your inbox.
Tagged never touches
Water operations, legal notices beyond the approved templates, or any communication the district has not reviewed and adopted.
Proposed pilot price
A 900 device district runs about $1,260 per month, an arithmetic illustration of the rate, not a quote. Includes notices, intake, chasing, records and the monthly summary. Postage passed through at cost.
